Overview OverviewOur program is highly individualized, offering a wide range of materials and utilization of ideas and experiences from several schools of educational thought. A child is free to work independently or in groups according to his developmental level. There are learning stations for a broad range of science, music, art, creative drama, pre-math and pre-reading on sequentials levels. A child selects his work independently on his own growth schedule. Developing a good self-image is important to the child. This image grows as he or she learns new skills, develops self-control, and learns to assume responsibilities for choices, while following through his or her needs and ideas. Each child is valued as an individual. A feeling of God's love for families and all people is on going in loving, caring relationships with other children and a well-trained staff. The school is operated for preschool age children on a non-discriminatory basis, according equal treatment without regard to race, color, religion or national origin. The Department of Health of the State of California is the licensing agent. Class SchedulesClasses are limited to 41 students. Children will be grouped by chronological age as follows, and we ask that you register your child accordingly. Exceptions can and will be made if it will benefit the child. Junior Kindergarten, Monday - Thursday A.M & P.M.: Children in these classes are 4 years 9 months before September 2 Monday - Wednesday - Friday, A.M. Classes: Children in these classes are 3 years, 9 months or older by September 2. This is our kindergarten readiness class. Tuesday - Thursday A.M. Class: Children in these classes are 2 years, 9 months by September 2. Exceptions of 2 1/2 year olds will be made if the child will benefit from the program. "Mom's Morning Out" - Tuesday or Wednesday A.M.: Children in this class are 18 - 33 months. This is a great introduction to the preschool setting.
